After many years spent working in women’s magazines in Sydney, I relocated to Melbourne and launched a wonderful freelance journalism career that has seen me travel the world on assignment and deep dive into the nitty gritty of parenting, wellbeing and social trends.
I’ve always got my ear to the ground, eager to uncover the latest social trend or life hack that will inspire and delight a (generally) female audience. I’ve landed front page stories and watched my opinion pieces go viral, with my stories often re-hashed by other media outlets.
My editors tell me they love my fresh ideas, witty writing style and commitment to deadlines. But for me, the work is about finding and sharing magical stories – there is nothing more rewarding than a DM from a reader who tells you your story changed their life.
